To best serve our community Buck Run will not have any in-person gatherings at this time. We will stream our service at 10:45am on our website, on our Facebook page, and in the Buck Run app.

Daily Prayer Guide

As we navigate these strange days together, let us be united in prayer. Each day we will share a prayer rubric to help us entrust each day to God and ensure we are thinking about the lives of others and our own spiritual state during trying times.

April 10: Good Friday

On this day we take time to remember the death of our Lord. As we focus our minds and hearts on the cross we should feel the weight of that day. On the cross, the Lord Jesus bore in His body our sins, suffering under the just wrath of the Father. Take time today to be still and remember the sacrifice of Christ. Let’s ask the Lord to help us feel sorrow over our sins and immense gratitude at the sufferings of Christ.

  • For a godly sorrow over sin.
  • For eyes to see and ears to hear the story of the cross anew.
  • For many to hear this story and believe and be saved.
  • For our hearts to feel the weight of the death of the Son of God.
  • For our hearts to fill with gratitude at Christ’s work on our behalf.
