SUMMARY:Midweek at BuckRun
DESCRIPTION:It’s important for Christians to have regular community together to help fight off the many temptations that our culture is throwing at us throughout the week. To this end\, Midweek at Buck Run provides a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and relationships. Opportunities are offered for kids\, students\, and adults throughout the year at 6:30 pm. \nCovenant and God’s Purpose for the World with Dr. Chris Parrish\nThroughout the Bible\, God has related to his people through covenants. It is through these covenant relationships\, which collectively serve as the foundation for God’s promise to bring redemption to His people\, that we can understand the advancement of His kingdom. In these 6 weeks\, we’ll walk through 6 covenants from Genesis to Revelation\, seeking the grasp the overarching narrative of Scripture and see the salvation God has planned for us since the beginning of time. \nLasting Love: How to Avoid Marital Failure with Brian Honett\nEveryone who says “I do” hopes for a long and satisfying life with their spouse\, but as time passes couples forget the basics. Too often we become wrapped up in the business of everyday life that we neglect the essentials critical to a healthy marriage. Join us as we explore the building blocks for ensuring your marriage is one that will last a lifetime. \nThe Battle for Holiness with Christopher Scrufari\nThe Holy Spirit\, through Peter\, urges all believers exiled to this earth “to abstain from the passions of the flesh\, which wage war against your soul” (1 Peter 2:11). What are these passions? What is our role in the war? What is God’s? In the Battle for Holiness\, we will learn from Scripture how to win this war and live steadfast in holiness. \nMom to Mom with Kari Vanhoose\nMom to mom implements Titus 2:4 by facilitating the mentoring of moms who are in the trenches of parenting by seasoned moms who have already raised all of their children to adulthood. The relevant\, biblically based curriculum is designed to equip\, encourage\, and energize moms in the most important job in all the world\, raising children. Each class is independent of the one before so please\, join as you can! Parenting is tough and so important. Come and rest and be encouraged! \nRegister

\nRegister
