Jesus and the End Times: The Olivet Discourse | Dr. Hershael York | Room 102-103

Jesus told his disciples about the coming destruction of the Jerusalem Temple, and on the further historical horizon, his second coming in judgment and mercy. This portion of Jesus’ teaching, known as the “Olivet Discourse”, is recorded in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 24-25, Mark 13, and Luke 21). Jesus intended that his followers should be aware of what is to come so that they might persevere in faith, hope, and joy. By teaching through Jesus’ instruction, Dr. York will encourage us to be watchful as we look to Jesus’ return.
