Kids Ministry
Our Kids Ministry exists to partner with parents to reach kids 5th grade and younger with the gospel and build a love for God that lasts a lifetime. We provide a kid-friendly and safe environment while seeking to communicate biblical truth in age-appropriate ways.
Worship
Every Sunday at 8:30 & 11:00 am, classes are offered for kids in 1st grade and younger. Kids in 2nd grade and up attend worship with their parents. A Training Room is offered for parents to utilize in helping their children transition to the service.
Sunday School
At 10:00 am each Sunday, classes are offered for all ages, where we walk through the Bible in ways tailored to each child’s age. Check-in for Sunday School ends at 10:10.
Midweek
On Wednesdays at 6:30 pm during the school year, classes are offered for all ages, where we provide practical equipping to help kids grow in and live out their faith.
Adaptive Learning
Twice a month, we offer our Adaptive Learning class for those with special needs that necessitate them learning in a unique environment better suited to their developmental, sensory, and/or medical needs.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a fun, high-energy time for kids to learn about God through Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and activities. It’s designed to help children grow in their faith, build friendships, and experience the love of Jesus in an engaging and memorable way.
Kids Camp
Every summer, our 2nd-5th graders head to camp for an exciting few days of activities, games, and lake time, all while learning from God’s Word. Registration opens January 1.
2nd Grade Bible Presentation
Each fall, we recognize our 2nd graders as they transition into attending the worship service with their parents each week. Each kid is given a Bible with notes from their parents and pastor,
Baby Dedication
Twice a year, we set aside time in our worship service to publicly thank God for the gift of children. Parents can publicly affirm their commitment to raise their children to love and obey Jesus Christ while standing accountable before the congregation, as a witness of their dedication to parenting for God’s glory.

Kids Protection Policy
At Buck Run, we take seriously our responsibility to protect every child and student entrusted to our care. Our Child and Volunteer Protection Policy outlines the standards and practices we hold ourselves to in order to keep our ministries safe for kids, families, and volunteers alike.
