Meeting somebody for the first time can be a little awkward and going to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to make your first experience at Buck Run a great one.

What are the weekend services like?

Our corporate worship is lively and intentional. We understand the importance of Christ being the centerpiece of our praise, so we plan out our services with great attention to detail as we focus on gathering to give God glory.

Our pastor faithfully preaches from the Bible weekly. To make the most of your worship experience, bring a copy of God’s word with you. If you don’t have a Bible, that’s okay! Ask us and we’ll gladly give you a copy to keep.

Where do I park?

As with many churches who enjoy healthy fellowship, our parking lot is often full. That is why we have saved you a spot! Guest parking is available near the Main Entrance at the front of our parking lot. A friendly parking attendant will be happy to help you.

What will happen on my first visit?

We’re looking forward to seeing you! When you pull onto the campus a parking attendant will help you get parked. A friendly member of our Welcome Team will introduce themselves and open the door for you. They will also help you find a seat in the sanctuary and check your kids into the BuckRunKids area, if you have younger children. And don’t worry, while we want to get to know you, we won’t slap a name tag on you and make you stand up and introduce yourself in front of everyone!

What about my kids?

Buck Run offers something from bed babies to senior adults. The Kids Ministry works hard to provide a place that cares for your children while teaching them about Jesus. Students connect in a group with their peers that will excite them and challenge them to love Christ.

Your children are precious to you and us and their safety is a priority. In an effort to provide a secure environment, all of our teachers and volunteers are screened and trained before being allowed to serve with your child. In addition, we have a detailed check-in process, so plan on being here about 10 minutes early!

What should I wear?

We don’t have a dress code! You’ll see some people wearing blue jeans and some wearing suits.

We may have left off something important. If you have a question that we didn’t cover, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. Any of our pastors would be happy to answer any of your questions.

We can’t wait to meet you.
