New Midweek Classes Begin

January 14 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Spiritual Disciplines | Frank Benton | Room 102
As we embark on a new year, what better time to be encouraged and challenged to grow spiritually? As we examine the spiritual disciplines the Lord has provided for us, we will strive to practice these disciplines out of gratitude for the grace he has saved us with and to incorporate them into our lives as believers with the primary goal of growing in godliness.

Reading Group: The Unsaved Christian | Ben Pinkston | Room 100
We are surrounded by people in our families, neighborhoods, and workplaces that could be called “cultural Christians”. They would claim to be believers and may even attend church from time to time, but they don’t know Jesus. We need to be reminded that these people are just as lost as anyone who claims to be an atheist or part of some other religion. By studying Dean Inserra’s book, “The Unsaved Christian”, this class will focus on identifying and reaching “cultural Christians” with the gospel. The book can be purchased here.

Jude | Dr. Chris Parrish | Sanctuary
Jude, the brother of Jesus, writes to the church to “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” Few messages could be more relevant to our current cultural moment. In light of the resurrection and coming return of Jesus, we must hold fast to the Gospel. In this class, we’ll examine Jude’s letter line to line to grow in our knowledge and love of the Lord.

Mom to Mom | Kari VanHoose | Room 101
The heart of Mom to Mom is to connect moms who are in the trenches of parenting with those seasoned moms of Buck Run who have already raised all of their children to adulthood. Additionally, moms of all stages can connect and spur one another on. Join us for Biblically based teaching, fellowship, and encouragement. Parenting can be challenging, no matter the age of the children. Come rest, connect and be encouraged!

Worship Choir | Adrian Mathenia | Rehearsal Hall
The Worship Choir regularly leads the congregation in worship and participates in special services. Join this joyful group of people each week as they rehearse musical pieces for singers of all experience levels.
