Common questions
How does the plan work?
Each week has five readings, and the plan moves one book of the Bible at a time, mostly alternating between the Old and New Testaments. Every reading comes with a Psalm to read alongside it. Year One runs 52 weeks, starting Sunday, January 3, and Year Two picks up right where it leaves off.
What if I fall behind?
Nothing is lost. Use the arrows next to “This Week” to go back to an earlier week and check off what you've read, or tap “Jump to this week” to catch up with everyone else.
What are rest weeks?
A few weeks, between books and at the end of the year, are rest weeks. You read just the day's Psalm and take a break from the book-by-book reading.
How do I save my progress?
Tap “Save my progress” and type your email or phone number. There is no password. Next time, type it again on any phone and your readings will be there. Without it, your progress is kept only in that browser on that device. The people who run Read Together can see saved progress.
How do the classes and discussion guides fit in?
Each book we read runs alongside an Adult Discipleship Class, in six-week cycles, to help you read, understand, and share the Bible. Weekly discussion guides help you walk through a book with a group, your family, or someone you're sharing the gospel with. You can use the class, the guides, both, or just the plan.
Can I read with someone else?
Yes. Use the “Don't read alone” box below to send a friend or family member an invitation.
Send this to someone you want reading with you — a Community Group, a friend, your family.
Nice work. Want to save your progress so it's here on any phone?
