Missions Monday: Golf Scramble Raises Money for Missions Fund
This past Saturday afternoon 18 teams gathered at Juniper Hills for the 11th annual Golf Scramble for Missions. The weather was perfect as each team teed off. While many teams were comprised of Buck Run members, many members used the scramble as an opportunity to invite family and friends to help support the global cause of missions. Each year the golf scramble plays a pivotal role in Buck Run’s funding of international missions, church planting, and mission trip scholarships. This year $5,800 was raised that will be used in 2019 to send participants across our country and to the nations equipped with and ready to share the Good News of Jesus. Funds raised at last year’s outing were a big reason that Buck Run was able to send over 50 people to Fort Collins, Malaysia, Haiti, and Panama in 2018. Thank you to those that played, sponsored holes, and provided food.
